B2 Licensed Engineer
A licensed Engineer will carry out all scheduled tasks assigned to them in accordance with approved maintenance documentation, be able to demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft with the skills required to carry out the tasks as required. They we be competent in the use of aircraft maintenance documentation.

Reports to: General Manager Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance Manager, Hangar Production Manager, Station Managers
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out aircraft maintenance and certification as per the scope of the company approval.
Organise manpower planning, tooling, spares and create and distribute the Work Pack including relevant BCT forms and procedures if required.
Customer Liaison
a. Receiving customer work orders and requests
b. Keeping the customer informed of job progress
Mobile & Email:
a. Ensure all calls and emails are answered and responded to promptly.
b. Liaise with the Line Maintenance Manager as required.
Out of hours liaison with Line Maintenance Manager – Keep Line Maintenance Manager informed
To provide day-to-day liaison with customer MCC including the AOG and Operational Maintenance Planning activities.
Participation in the customers’ morning conference call
General
Hold UK Part 66 B2 license and authorisation.
Ensure the information requirements of Engineering Computer systems are met, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Valid EWIS, HF, FTS and SMS is required (SMS can be arranged if needed)
Must have the right to work in the UK
Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Work flexibly and develop positive working relationships with a broad range of people.
Comply with all relevant BCT and aviation health and safety rules, procedures and guidelines. To be fully aware of the health and safety responsibilities of this role.
Ensure a detailed shift diary is kept up to date, ensure detailed handovers are carried out both verbally and written, this may be face to face or by telephone.
Always work in a professional manner and be a positive representative for BCT Aviation Maintenance Limited.
Be able to demonstrate up-to date knowledge of applicable legislation.

Ability to communicate issues to management.
Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.
