BCT Aviation Maintenance has expanded its base maintenance capability at East Midlands Airport, by adding approval for maintenance services supporting Embraer ERJ 170 and ERJ 190 series aircraft. This development gives regional jet operators greater flexibility, faster access to experienced maintenance support, and a trusted UK base.
By extending its Embraer capability at EMA, BCT is helping customers reduce complexity and keep aircraft moving. The expanded offering strengthens turnaround options for ERJ operators seeking reliable scheduled maintenance, that’s delivered by a team which understands both the aircraft and the commercial pressures.
Built around customer needs
For customers, the benefit is straightforward: more capability, more choice, and less disruption. BCT’s East Midlands Airport facility offers a practical maintenance solution in a well-connected location, helping operators plan base maintenance around their networks with greater efficiency.
The expansion also supports better fleet continuity. With Embraer ERJ 170 and 190 aircraft now included in the base maintenance scope, customers can access a wider maintenance option without having to compromise on quality, responsiveness, or technical expertise.
A compelling option for ERJ operators
For operators of Embraer ERJ aircraft, East Midlands Airport offers a particularly attractive maintenance location thanks to its strong accessibility, central UK position, and the potential to reduce operational cost through efficient routing and simpler logistics. The airport’s location makes it easier to position aircraft for maintenance with less disruption to wider network plans, whilst the surrounding transport links support smoother crew travel, parts movement, and coordination with support teams. For operators focused on keeping maintenance practical and cost-effective, EMA provides a competitive base that combines convenience with operational efficiency.
