Stores & Logistics Manager
East Midlands & Manchester Airport
About the Role
In this role, you will lead and manage the Stores teams across multiple locations, ensuring efficient operations and high standards. You will be directly responsible for overseeing the stores activities supporting Line Maintenance at Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX) and East Midlands (EMA), as well as the Hangar team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement the new maintenance software (Veryon Tracking +) process from a Stores, Logistics and tooling perspective.
- Control all tooling inventories at the various location to ensure that active tooling remains available to the engineers at all times.
- Perform regular audits of the stores processes and be available during the authority audits.
- Must be able to hold Dangerous goods authority.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of stores staff.
- Proactively manage the stores space and storage.
- Manage staff training and personal development of the stores team.
- Responsible for the planning, supervising, motivating and directing of staff to meet the daily workload and maintain the high standards that are expected.
